Of course, the dogs love performing the tricks – possibly because of the extra treats! Perhaps you will see some tricks you can teach your dogs. You’ll have a chance to cheer on your favourite team with the barrel races where the dogs play by the rules but the handlers sometimes cheat. Trickery abound!

The Activity of K9 Nose Work® was created in 2006 by three experienced professional dog trainers/handlers (now K9 Nose Work® and the NACSW) as a way for pet dogs and sport dogs to have the opportunity to use their incredible scenting skills independently and safely.
It has grown into the fastest growing canine activity and sport in the world. It requires no special equipment, can be played anywhere it is safe and our dogs are already experts.
There is no obedience, no handler interruption and no corrections. The goal is always to create fun learning opportunities for the dog to explore and expand their skills and for their human partners to develop a keener understanding of their dog’s olfactory talents.
We will introduce three K9 Nose Work® super sniffers and let them show off some of their incredible skills in a few fast and fun searches.

Co-existing with your wild neighbours
-
As human developments continue to expand, animals like raccoons, squirrels and skunks have learned to adapt to urban spaces and call them home. Sometimes, this can get them into trouble if they see our homes as their home, or if they get into close encounters with people or pets. The Fur-Bearers believes that for wildlife and humans to coexist happily and safely, we must adapt our behaviours to prevent conflict and allow all species in an area to thrive. Learn more about how you can help people, pets, and wild animals co-exist.
